Anahaत was born from a conversation—a spark ignited between Chetan and Devdutt, two minds deeply intrigued by the timeless allure of Indian mythology. One day, while discussing ancient tales and the unique perspectives they offer, Chetan asked, “Can we use your art to spark wonder and curiosity in people's minds?” Alongside Sandeep, we embraced a shared dream: to introduce the profound, multifaceted world of Indian thought to a generation that, while educated in Western ideals, might not yet have discovered the beauty and complexity of our heritage. Sandeep, drawn to the idea, brought in a structured approach helping shape Anahat’s foundation. As the idea took form, Sulakshana played a key role in translating it into something tangible. A fashion designer by profession, she helped refine our early designs—what started as simple concepts soon evolved into a cohesive collection that defined Anahat’s creative direction.

At the heart of our collaboration is Devdutt Pattanaik, a master storyteller known for his captivating series like Devlok, which delves deep into the ‘why’ behind our ancient tales. Devdutt’s art doesn’t just illustrate a story—it invites us to explore the intricate philosophies of Indian culture. His work has become our bridge between ancient wisdom and modern expression, inspiring us to reimagine these narratives through wearable art.
